Deputies said Jennifer Williams of Woodford crashed her car into several mailboxes along Ferry Drive around 8:20 p.m., the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. She then turned onto Clarion Drive, where she went off the road and into someone's yard before slamming into a parked car, authorities continued.
Williams was shaken and confused, and her passenger was unresponsive when deputies arrived, authorities added. Paramedics took the passenger to an area hospital for treatment. Investigators tested Williams' blood for intoxicants.
Officials charged Williams with DUI, reckless driving, and multiple counts of destruction of property, deputies noted. She was being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
